If not I definately recomend it, its about the battle of calth, Ultramarines vs Word Bearers 100k+ ultramarines are butchered, its incredibly epic. Couple of days ago I was going over a particular juicy battle-scene from my Ahriman fanfic that I wrote last summer and thinking, as I normally do when revisiting my work, 'how the fuck did I write this crap…?'. €A startling, gritty, visceral, punishing ride into the battle for Calth. The First Heretic gave us the background. It's amazing the Know no Fear by Dan said clearly – that Thiel was with Primarch, when they translated of the system. I was hoping that this one would be as good as Horus Rising even more so as it focused on the Word Bearers assault on Calth and the first major phase of the Heresy after the battles on Istavaan III and V. There's no doubt though that Abnett's coverage of the event ensures that the battle of Calth is worth that mention. For him as he gets to shift characters and come up with interesting ways of telling the story, which he did both in Prospero Burns and now once again in Know No Fear, which focuses on the infamous The Battle of Calth. Have you not read Know no fear? Also question about Vulkan – i dont see the logic for Curze to keep Vulkan imprisoned in his labyrinth?
